The BSB60520 Advanced Diploma in Marketing and Communication is aimed at individuals who wish to provide leadership and support strategic direction in the marketing and communications activities of an organisation. Their knowledge base may be highly specialised or broad within the marketing and communications field. 

Course description 

To be issued the qualification BSB60520 Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication you must be assessed as competent in all 12 units of competency which includes 4 core units and 8 elective units. 

The elective units of competency have been chosen to provide you with a broad set of skills including a higher level approach to holistic business direction planning and strategic implementation. Undertaking these electives will enable you to move into more senior marketing roles within an organisation and learn the necessary knowledge and skillset to develop a business and marketing strategy from an organisation’s infancy. 

Structured learning during the course is supported by industry case studies and real world examples. Whilst this course is at times demanding and requires a significant amount of dedicated effort, it is a rewarding and enjoyable one for those who are passionate about marketing and improving their business acumen.

  • Successful completion of BSBMKG541 Identify and evaluate marketing opportunities, BSBMKG542 Establish and monitor the marketing mix, BSBMKG552 Design and develop marketing communications plans, BSBMKG555 Write persuasive copy and BSBPMG430 Undertake project work or their equivalents,OR 
  • Four years equivalent full-time relevant work experience 
English Requirements  Applications from non-English speaking backgrounds only: 
  • IELTS (Academic) 5.5 with no bands less than 5.0 or equivalent
