The BSB50620 Diploma in Marketing and Communication focuses on in depth technical skills such as market research planning and budget management. Course description
To be issued the qualification BSB50620 Diploma of Marketing and Communication you must be assessed as competent in all 12 units of competency which includes 5 core units and 7 elective units.
The elective units of competency have been chosen to provide you with a broad set of skills including more in depth technical skills such as market research planning and budget management. Undertaking these electives will enable you to move into more senior marketing roles within an organisation and learn the necessary knowledge and skillset to implement a marketing project from scratch.
Structured learning during the course is supported by industry case studies and real world examples. Whilst this course is at times demanding and requires a significant amount of dedicated effort, it is a rewarding and enjoyable one for those who are passionate about marketing and improving their business acumen.

Entry to this course requires:
- Successful completion of BSBMM411 Make presentations, BSBCRT412 Articulate, present and debate ideas, BSBMKG433 Undertake marketing activities, BSBMKG435 Analyse consumer behaviours, BSBMKG439 Develop and apply knowledge of communications industry and BSBWRT411 Write complex documents or their equivalents; OR
- Two years equivalent full-time relevant work experience
English Requirements
